Deep White pins a 2nd class ADWARDS Order of Excellence to its lapel
Competing shoulder to shoulder against the strongest giants of the local advertising industry, Deep White's traffic safety campaign Driving? Get Out of Your Phone! has won a 2nd class Order of Excellence in the TV and Cinema. Corporate Social Responsibility, Charity and Social Advertising category of the ADWARDS MMXX festival of creative excellence. "Powerful talent combined with outstanding mastery and attention to detail, which characterises an eminent virtuoso of the craft" is how the festival's organisers, the Latvian Art Directors Club, describe winners of the 2nd class ADWARDS Order of Excellence or Silver Award.
Bearing in mind the unusual competition format – with remote judging, an influx of new disciplines and in particular the serious competition in the TV & Radio category, we're proud to be among the best! And what makes it even more satisfying is the fact that we have been acclaimed in one of the most socially responsible of all disciplines, encouraging the public to quite bad and even dangerous habits.
Driving? Get Out of Your Phone! is one of the most prominent and most discussed social campaigns of recent times in which lively zombie boys and girls call on zombified drivers not to join their ranks. Zombified drivers, who even while driving cannot put down their mobile phones, creating dangerous situations on the road and endangering the health and lives of themselves and others.
